When the idea for No Dice! first came to me, it took life experience and the bible story of Gideon to understand the deeper importance of the game. When you roll the dice in a game and the numbers that you are looking for don't show up, it normally means that you've lost, but in the game of No Dice!, it means that you've actually won. That would make any one want to keep rolling.

 

Sometimes in life it may look like we don't have what it takes to win, when in fact we do. We have to be brave enough to keep going, to keep rolling the dice and that takes courage. That is the life lesson that the No Dice! game teaches. The game also teaches us that it is possible to transform the way we see ourselves; to exchange the thoughts that tell us we are inadequate, to thoughts that tell us we do measure up.
